General Questions
A charter boat is a commercial vessel with a licensed captain to operate it. Our pontoon boat is a registered commercial passenger vessel that is inspected and in compliance with all safety standards and requirements set forth by the New Hampshire Department of Safety.
Captain Jeff has decades of commercial maritime experience on the ocean as well as navigable waterways such as lakes and rivers. Captain Jeff knows Lake Winnipesaukee like the back of his hand as he has been boating on the lake since he was a child.
We offer tours specifically tailored to your needs. Bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate outings and any other occasion to get out and enjoy the lake. We also offer morning coffee cruises as well as sunset cruises.
Once you book, please call or email Captain Jeff to discuss your pickup location.
Depending on the pickup location, there may be an extra charge for fuel costs and time.
Yes. We have enough noodles for everyone onboard.
Pricing
We require a 50% deposit to book and hold your tour date and time. The remainder of funds is due upon the completion of your tour. For the remaining balance, cash is preferred; however, we do accept credit/debit cards (plus a 4% card surcharge), PayPal, and Venmo .
Friday - Sunday: Pricing is $250 per hour with a 2-hour minimum. We do accept debit and credit cards (plus a 4% surcharge).
Monday - Thursday: We offer a 15% discount on the hourly rate which equates to $212.50/hour (plus 4% surcharge on credit and debit cards).
*Note: discounts cannot be combined.
Yes. We offer a 15% discount on boat charters for the following:
- Active or retired military personnel
- Law enforcement officers
- Firefighters
- First responders, EMS personnel, Nurses
- Teachers
*Note: discounts cannot be combined. The individual chartering the tour must fall into the discount criteria above to qualify for the discount.
The fuel is included in the cost of your trip. However, depending on your pickup location there may be a fuel surcharge.
We can pick-up and drop-off you and your party from anywhere on Lake Winnipesaukee.
When booking your reservation, simply type your desired pick-up and drop-off location in the notes section of the reservation page.
Note: In some cases, your pick-up/drop-off location may be in a remote area of the lake that requires more time or extra fuel. In such cases we would add a small travel surcharge to your package. We will notify you within 24-48 hours of booking your reservation if a travel surcharge will apply.

Capacity/Safety
Although the boat is rated for more passengers, we limit groups to 11 to ensure everyone’s comfort.
As a commercial vessel, we provide life jackets for all passengers including children. If you bring children, you may bring your own properly fitted, USCG-approved life jackets.
Note: New Hampshire state law requires all children under 13 to wear a life jacket.
No. Unfortunately, we do not offer tubing or water skiing.
Bring your own coolers filled with whatever you want to eat and drink. The boat has a stereo with bluetooth so bring your favorite playlists of music.
Absolutely! One perk of having a captain is that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about driving the boat. Bring your favorite beverages, but remember to drink responsibly. Alcohol consumption is only permitted for guests 21 or older, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
There is no smoking of any kind allowed on the boat.
Cancellations
- 14 days prior to cruise: Full refund minus a $10 processing fee.
- 7 - 13 days prior to cruise: 50% refund. If we can fill your vacated time slot, we will refund the full amount minus a $10 processing fee.
- 6 days or less prior to cruise: Non-refundable unless we can fill your vacated time slot.
We’ll do our best to reschedule you if needed based on schedule availability. Contact us via email at info@lwboatcharters.com or call/text (978) 764-3908 to cancel or reschedule.
Weather-related cancellations are rare but may occur if safety is at risk. Captain Jeff will decide if conditions are safe. If your trip is canceled due to weather, we’ll work to reschedule, or you’ll receive a 100% refund.
